ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for cleaning parts, changing drums on the packaging equipment, fixing some machinery, preparing production for upcoming jobs, and assisting maintenance with daily tasks.
Primary job functions include but are not limited to:
- Tear down parts to clean and rebuild.
- Recognize and troubleshoot problems among equipment.
- Communicate with machine operators, line leads, and maintenance.
- Organize, clean, and switch change parts as needed.
- Must be willing to work with others.
- Must be flexible due to the varying responsibilities.
- Must also participate individually and/or as a group in team meetings, safety programs, training, presentations, and other activities that are essential to the attainment of the team or plant goals.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English Must be able to read, write, comprehend and communicate basic Math
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must be able to lift 50lbs continuously
- Must be able to work overtime with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time while cleaning, squat while cleaning, use provided hand tools for cleaning.
- Must be able to climb steps frequently
- Must be able to use a drum card to load drums into presses, sometimes weighting upwards of 700lbs
Preferred Skills:
- Valid driver's license
- Forklift Experience
Schedule: 10 hour shift - 2nd shift 3:15pm-1:45 am M-TH
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour $0.75 shift differential
