Role and Responsibilities
The Maint/ Mech I position is accountable for the efficient operation of all the equipment and instrumentation throughout the facility, both inside and outside of the building. This position accomplishes the organizational objectives by ensuring that all equipment and instrumentation is operating at optimal levels.
Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, special projects to assist the manufacture and pigmenting of mixes, hand packaging and filling. Focus will be in the area of installation, maintenance, fabrication and repair of equipment for the mixing and production departments. Assist with setup, drum changing, parts cleaning, and production.
Primary job functions include but are not limited to:
- Preventative maintenance.
- Special projects to assist the manufacturing and pigmenting of mixes.
- Hand packaging and filling.
- Installation, maintenance, fabrication and repair of equipment for production departments.
- Assist with set-up, drum changes, parts cleaning and production.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must have the legal right to work in this country without needing sponsorship now or in the future for employment visa status.

Must have access to reliable transportation.

Must be able to work overtime with or without reasonable accommodation.

Must have at least three years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Preferred Skills
Candidate should be proficient in the following:
- Valid driver’s license
- Forklift Experience
