Summary
Our client is seeking a Project Manager to assist D3 Access management in reviewing TIS to ensure the proposed development does not adversely impact operations and safety of the existing network. Ensures calculations provided correlates to proposed mitigations. Ensures that mitigation proposals are practical for the area, consistent with context-focused objectives. Ensures that the TIS conforms to the approved scope of work agreement, in accordance with local guidelines.
Developers Requirements
- May be required to do site access improvements or mitigation plans. These plans may require signing and marking plans.
- Ensuring that the signing and pavement marking plans are completed in accordance with the MdMUTCD, the MDOT SHA Standard Sign Book and Traffic Control Devices Design Guidelines and other relevant standards that fit the scope of work.
- Confirming all proposed and existing signing that you find to be acceptable for the intended traffic operation.
- Confirming the sizes of the proposed signing.
- Confirming each pavement marking callout that is acceptable.
- Marking up any unacceptable signing or marking application and denote what it should be.
- Preparing a response for Team Leader or ADE-T to the SHA engineer who requested the review.
- Initiating a meeting ff the plans are riddled with multiple errors and / or come back without any of the changes recommended.
