Auto Body Repair -Estimator Claims Adjuster

URGENTLY SEEKING - Auto body and collision repair shop in Bronxville looking for a damage estimator/claims adjuster. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, a self starter and capable of working in a fast paced environment unsupervised.

This posting is for more entry level or less experienced candidates that are willing to be trained and learn our process

The ideal candidate will have experience using CCC estimating and management software and have an understanding of auto body and collision repairs

We will train you on how to properly assess damage, order parts, and review and negotiate insurance estimates within our system and processes

Bonus points if you have a NY damage appraisers license, experience with CCC estimating software, Speak Spanish, have worked as an insurance damage appraiser, have I-Car training

Also MUST be willing to work two Saturdays a month from 8am-1pm

The main job responsibilities after training is completed would be:

• Consult and advise customers of the best course of action regarding the repair of their vehicles
• Fully explain the insurance process to customers and how we can best assist their needs
• Properly assess and estimate vehicle damage
• Research proper repair methods and incorporate them into your estimates
• Negotiate with insurance companies and enforce shop repair methods and required procedures
• Accurately order parts in a timely manner and manage the expected delivery of all parts ordered
• Follow the vehicle through the repair process and update management system accordingly
• File and negotiate any necessary supplements before the vehicle is returned to the customer
• Assist in other shop management duties as necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
