Job Description
The Certified Surgical Technician works in collaboration with the surgeon and RN to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The Certified Surgical Technician has received education and advanced certification on how to follow aseptic technique procedures and be able to provide equipment and supplies based on patient and surgeon needs. During surgery, the Surgical Technician practices under the direction of the surgeon and surgical nursing staff.
Graduate of a Surgical Technician program.
