What are the responsibilities and job description for the MLT/MT Generalist, Nights position at MERIT HEALTH RIVER REGION?
Responsibilities :
Responsible for performing diagnostic quality routine and specialized moderate and high complexity laboratory tests according to pre-established guidelines
Schedules and observes time-management techniques according to departmental productivity and efficiency standards while observing a quality patient care experience
Performs instrument function checks and preventative maintenance procedures and maintains records and statistical data according to regulatory requirements
Full time night shift
Education :
Associate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology required
Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or Laboratory Science, preferred
Licenses & Certification :
As a Medical Laboratory Technician registered or eligible for registration as a Medical Laboratory Technician, MLT (ASCP), or CLT (NCA) or equivalent is required.
As a Medical Technologist, MT(ASCP), MT(AMT), HEW or CLT(NCA) is required. Qualification
Experience :
One (1) year of Medical Laboratory experience is preferred
