What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at Merit Integrated Logistics?
Merit Logistics is looking for highly motivated individuals to join our growing team! This position's schedule is 2nd shift: 6 PM - 2 AM. This full-time position is responsible for unloading and processing warehouse stock products in a fast-paced environment. This position may utilize heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to complete assigned tasks.
Benefits:
$17.00/ hour
Weekly Pay
Health, Dental, Eye, and Life insurance after 90 days
Minimum Qualifications:
- Reliably commute to and from the facility
- Ability to work independently or with a team
- Able to lift 5lbs. to 75lbs throughout the shift
- Stand for an extended period
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn
Preferred: Warehouse experience
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks as needed to maintain inventory flow.
- process/breakdown warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, sort)
- Gather cardboard and plastic wrap, and assemble boxes
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
