What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse sanitation position at Merit Integrated Logistics?
Merit Logistics is looking for highly motivated individuals to join our growing team! This position's schedule is 2nd shift: Monday - Friday 11:30 AM -8 PM. This full-time position is responsible for keeping the warehouse clean by sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and any other miscellaneous duties as assigned. This position may utilize heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to complete assigned tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Reliably commute to and from the facility
- Ability to work independently or with a team
- Able to lift 5lbs. to 75lbs throughout the shift
- Stand for an extended period
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn
- Forklift experience
- Comfortably operate mobile heavy equipment
Preferred: Sanitation experience
Responsibilities:
- Deep cleans, sweeps, and/or mops assigned areas, including aisles, compactors, dock areas and levelers, floor racks, etc.
- Dusts posts, barriers, and fire exit stations
- Cardboard breakdown
- Trash removal
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Operate a forklift for various tasks throughout shift
- Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned
