We are looking for an experienced Commercial Project Manager to join our team and lead the planning, execution, and completion of complex commercial projects.
Job Description:
As a Commercial Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing large commercial construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in bidding and winning contracts, as well as managing large-scale projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage large commercial projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Prepare and submit competitive bids, analyze cost estimates, and negotiate contracts with clients and subcontractors.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, and execution, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety standards.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure all project goals are met.
• Monitor project progress and performance, addressing any issues or changes to ensure project success.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular updates on project milestones and outcomes.
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders, and financial reports.
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes, regulations, and health and safety standards.
• Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial project management, with a proven track record of running large projects.
• Strong experience in bidding and estimating for large-scale commercial construction projects.
• Excellent understanding of construction management processes, contracts, and safety standards.
• Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or equivalent).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle competing priorities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred but not required).
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
