SUMMARY: Responsible for implementing and leading the activities listed below:

Benefits module support:
Provide support to Open enrollment benefit cycle 2024.
Assist the team in Oracle Benefit Fusion Cloud configuration in preparation for OE (open enrollment).
Align with industry best practice and process guidance.
Address any issue that might impact open enrollment cycle.
Update configuration workbooks or training materials.
Areas of consideration 401k plans, elements, ACA data, life events, enrollment rules and integrations with benefit vendors.

Compensation module support:
Review and provide a solution to current grade and grade ladders set up to better support the compensation cycle.
Enable grade and grade ladders at Position level.
Remove any custom solution that might generate extra manual work. Enable out of the box functionality within Compensation module.
Reconfigure grade and grade ladders for union workforce.
Configure new grade and grade ladders for non-union workforce.
Provide guidance to Compensation team on how to perform what if analysis of planned salary increases.
Configure compensation plans for bonus and merit cycles. These plans include all non-union population in United States, Central America and Puerto Rico. The expectation is that calculations are performed at the plan level.
Enable reports and dashboards to support compensation module.
Enable processing of discretionary budget and increases during the merit cycle.
Enable approval flows during in the merit plans.
Enable total compensation statements for merit cycles.
Review any redwood functionality that might enhance the merit process.
Ensure the successful process of the merit plans all the way through payroll.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead as a technical expert to identify and implement solutions to benefits and compensation Oracle Fusion modules.

Coordinate with team members to ensure successful delivery of solutions to the customer. Develop models and plans to drive forward the strategy, taking advantage of opportunities to improve business performance. Conduct reviews of customer business requirements, use cases, architecture and other components within the customer environment to identify issues and make recommendations to meet the customer need. Develop and implement best practices for software and system architecture. Collaborate with various business units on projects to ensure successful implementation and delivery. Create the technology road map to achieve business goals. Review and approve work performed by team members and 3rd party vendors. Act as a mentor to other developers to help improve technical and professional skills. Monitor the market to gain knowledge and understanding of emerging technologies. Identify new and emerging hardware/software technologies and products, access their relevance and value to the organization.

EDUCATION: Bachelor s degree in computer science, business or a related field; or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to fourteen (14) years.
EXPERIENCE: 5 years of information technology experience; with at least 7 years of design, development and implementation of software applications. Experience implementing and supporting US payroll processes for Union and Non Union employees. Lead Project to redesign US Payroll in Oracle HCM cloud this will include elements review, fast formulas, 401k quarterly tax reporting, ATO balance accumulators, W2 year-end processing, payroll flows, reporting, analyze current processes and introduce industry best practices elimination of redundancy and work arounds. Time keeping solution from Kronos and additional areas related to union payrolls will be review as well.
