What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Data Analytics Internship position at Meritage Homes?

This position is going to be full time during the summer 2025 internship program.
The Data Analytics & Reporting Intern will:
- Gain exposure to Business Objects, Power BI and Microsoft Office products
- Be a key player in our Data, Reporting, and Analytics team located in Scottsdale.
- Assisting with tickets and fixing various reports
- Assisting and working alongside the Senior Business Intelligence Engineer on continuous development and support for reporting, analytics, and data visualizations.
- Gain customer service skills
- Work closely with internal business leaders to learn the homebuilding industry, the Meritage business model and an assigned functional area of Information Technology.
- Learn our core values and why they drive everything we do
- Translate classroom experience into practical application during the internship
- Participate in cross-functional projects involving other interns and business leaders centered around current business challenges
- Present real world business recommendations to senior leadership that can help drive our strategy
- Write a paper focusing on the experience or another assigned topic
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited university at the time of the internship, preferably a rising Junior or Senior in any of the following disciplines:
