As our Operations and Relationship Manager , you will be essential in maintaining clear, ongoing communication with our clients and providing exceptional assistance, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Our firm is growing— strategically . We’re not about packing the house; we’re focused on building deep, meaningful relationships with a select group of retiree clients who need our specialized expertise. In fact, we aim to work with no more than 50 families facing the complex challenges we’re best equipped to solve. It's all about consistently adding value for our clients to improve their financial lives.

This is an in office position 9am-4pm Monday through Friday with a full gym / showers onsite.

Please note, this role does not involve giving financial advice to clients, but you will learn a lot about financial planning in this position.

Who We're Looking For

We need someone with a strong background in client service, preferably with experience in LPL Financial's back office systems. If you're detail-oriented, proactive, and driven to improve processes while delivering a high-level client care, this is your chance to make an impact.

Note, as an independent fee-only firm, we do not sell financial products or receive commissions and business development is not required for this role.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Client Support : Assist clients with tasks and ensure all necessary actions are completed efficiently.
  • Client Communication : Facilitate regular and clear communication to address client needs and concerns.
  • Opening New Client Accounts : Manage account setup, ensuring documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Transferring Accounts : Ensure a seamless, secure transfer of accounts.
  • Scheduling Coordination : Organize and prep for client meetings while maintaining a well-structured calendar.
  • Third-Party Relationships : Collaborate with CPAs, attorneys, and other professionals to provide comprehensive client service.
  • Founder Support : Assist the Founder with various operational tasks to keep everything running smoothly.

Qualifications :

  • 2 years’ experience in a client service role, ideally at LPL Financial or an RIA / Hybrid firm that uses LPL Financial as their custodian or a large firm (Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, Charles Schwab, etc)
  • Familiarity with the financial services industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and a willingness to learn new tech (Wealthbox, Zoom, Calendly, Box).
  • Ability to upload documents to Holistiplan and RightCapital.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment, and adapt as needed.
  • Eagerness to grow through professional development.
  • Collaborative mindset, yet able to work independently as required.
