Description
The Credit Union is looking for a dynamic individual to help us grow our Business Banking Department. The primary function of this position is to deliver high quality service to our internal and external members. This position is responsible for assisting Business Loan Officers and to capture new loans and/or deposit products. This person will promote and service Credit Union products and services to business owners throughout the community. This role will also ensure adherence to regulations/guidelines from external regulatory and legislative agencies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Completion of all pre-closing documentation requirements.
- Assist with loan pipeline, including working with officers on priorities for processing and closing loans in pipeline, as well as extensions and renewals of existing loans.
- Responsible for maintaining ongoing loan documentation requirements and follow up.
- Assist in maintaining Wichita market commercial / business loans, as appropriate.
- Includes contact with members to meet requirements/deadlines or handle administrative needs/concerns.
- Maintain active and open communications, and provide quality member service to both internal and external loan members.
- Work cooperatively with loan operations to insure all documentation is accurate and received in time for closings.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of appropriate lending regulations, procedures, and practices.
- Excellent oral/written communication skills and problem solving skills.
- Proficiency in using spreadsheet and word processing applications.
- Ability to adhere to commercial policies and procedures and credit culture standards.
- Demonstrated track record of self improvement.
- One year of financial institution experience, working with a broad range of products and services.
Salary : $15 - $23
