Private Banking Officers must be enthusiastic in helping to launch a unique business strategy in which their main focus will be to manage business and affluent member portfolios by pursuing, obtaining, and fostering relationships with concierge-level service. Officers will be responsible for maintaining expert level knowledge on both business and consumer products and services. This individual develop, retain, and expand client relationships within these market segments, with responsibility for loan and deposit portfolio growth, revenue generation, and revenue growth.

- Support fellow employees, adapt to changes in job expectations promptly, promote a positive team environment, and work collaboratively with Business and Retail teams to meet goals.
- Appreciate and work to understand the diverse needs of a broad member base.
- Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude.
- Stay abreast of all current and developing products/services offered to members and, when possible, personally utilize credit union services in order to assist members effectively.
- Participate in Meritrust Sponsored events to build relationships with Affluent people in the community.
Qualifications and Education:
- Minimum of two years job related experience, proficient knowledge and performance of the job responsibilities and capabilities of a member consultant
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experienced team player in a goal-oriented environment
- High school diploma required
- Post high school education, or equivalent, preferred
- Background in sales, education, and/or finance required
- Excellent computer skills and comfortable using new technology
- Financially astute
- Private Banking and Commercial Lending experience, preferred
