Overview:
Seeking a dynamic and experienced Treasury Relationship Manager to join our team. This key role is responsible for managing all treasury services for our valued business members, ensuring their financial needs are met efficiently and effectively.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage treasury and merchant services for business members.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with business members, acting as their primary point of contact for all treasury-related inquiries and needs.
- Conduct outbound visits to business members to ensure smooth service implementation, address any concerns or issues, and gather feedback on their experience with the credit union.
- Regularly review business members' accounts and activity to identify opportunities for cross-selling additional products or services that meet their financial needs.
- Open new business deposit accounts and service existing ones; Assist members with inquiries on new and existing business loans.
- Drives Depository and Treasury Service growth opportunities by building and maintaining a portfolio of small to medium-sized businesses, utilizing a consultative approach to selling Treasury Service products.
- Demonstrates depth of product knowledge across Treasury Management systems and platforms.
- Assist credit union personnel as a resource for business deposit and treasury services.
- Assist the Director of Business Services and any other Business Loan Officers in business development activity.
- Always adhere to compliance and lending regulations.
- Present a positive image of the credit union through a professional appearance and courteous attitude.
- Promote credit union products and services based on member needs that are obtained from member interviews.
- Handle requests from business members for all services requested; include necessary business department entities to ensure first class service.
- Resolve complaints from members and non-members in a professional manner.
- Periodically attend business development and servicing calls or events with the Director of Business Services and any other Business Loan Officer(s).
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or Director of Business Services.
- Maintain confidentiality in all credit union and member matters.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Education:
- Prior experience in treasury management, merchant services, or financial services industry preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with business members.
- Proficiency in using spreadsheet and word processing applications.
- Willingness to travel to visit business members as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
