We are currently seeking Remote Territory Sales Managers (TSM) for multiple sales territories within the US, one of which is in NYC.
TSMs will fill important roles within the organization. These are full-time, W-2, remote/outside sales positions.TSMs are responsible for focusing, coordinating, organizing, and directing of territory sales efforts. TSMs will build product demand through the development of effective relationships and bring value to every sales call to help advance the companys vision, culture, values, and work environment. TSMs are responsible for increasing the sales of product offerings and upholding Merits Health Products mission and vision throughout every transaction. TSMs are expected to collaborate cross functionally by coordinating, organizing, and managing their territories within Merits USA.
TSMs work to develop the customers knowledge of products, targeting key accounts, developing opportunities, and exceeding budgeted sales goals. A related college degree with five (5) years of relevant sales and industry experience; or an equivalent combination of closely related experience, education, and/or training. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate cross functionallywith internal and external stakeholders to provide an elevated level of customer satisfaction and sales growth, and to ensure the company delivers on its promises.
- Advance the companys vision, mission, culture, and values with frequent interactions that are based on trust, transparency, and open communication.
- Educate customers on value proposition and benefits of the products.
- Travel within assigned territory a minimum of (4) four days per work week, with (1) one home office day being utilized for planning, follow-ups, computer work, etc. if needed.
- Must satisfy a minimum of seventeen (17) qualified in-services per year at Rehab Providers or Referral Facilities.
- Attend and participate in weekly calls and provide weekly reports to the leadership team to evaluate and provide feedback on sales activities.
- Remain current on new and existing product development and information.
- Remain current on industry standards and trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies.
- Stay abreast of government regulations as they relate to competitive bidding and other government regulations including, but not limited to, Medicare Billing Codes.
- Complete required training and/or action item tasks as assigned.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Attend and participate in Sales Team bi-annual conference meetings.
- Business travel as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Follow Company safety policies and participate in Safety and other required Training as relevant to the position.
- Must have solid time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Must have very strong interpersonal skills and negotiating skills.
- Must be a dedicated team player with excellent collaborative qualities.
- Must be an extremely meticulous initiative-taker who can work independently and within a team.
- Must have the ability to comprehend and adapt to customer and team member behaviors and can professionally and respectfully address challenges when they arise.
- Must be computer literate with proficiencies in MS Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, SharePoint).
- Must have recent experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Epicor, or similar and can learn new systems as they are implemented.
- Must have a valid US Drivers License in good standing and must maintain throughout employment.
- Must have an SUV, Van, Crossover, or similar vehicle in excellent running condition and is visually appealing to transport products for demonstration/evaluation purposes.
- Must have the ability to consistently and effectively present information and respond in a timely manner to high email/message volume, to questions or inquiries from internal and external customers.
- Must have the ability to effectively manage time and workload.
- Must be dependable and hold an excellent attendance record.
- Must be willing to travel as expected to meet position requirements and have a good tolerance to withstand the possible related stressors of said travel.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
