What are the responsibilities and job description for the Brook Lane Laurel Hall Frederick Teacher position at Meritus Health?
Provide instruction and curriculum which implements the students IEPs
Education – Bachelor’s Degree in Education which qualifies work with children and adolescents
Experience –
Licensure/Certification – Teaching certificate in the State of Maryland in special education appropriate for the assignment (certificate may be a valid conditional certificate). Current BLS (CPR) in compliance with policy. Current First Aid training. For use of Meritus Vehicles: Valid Driver’s License, A driving record as required by law for vehicle expected to operate. No record of moving violations in the past three years is preferred. Certified copy of driving record is required to be provided by team member annually on date of birth. Acknowledgement with signature to “Attestation A” of Meritus Vehicle Management Use and Control policy.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities – Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and utilize time effectively. Completes annual training: Education Day, CPI, BLS, First Aid and other trainings as assigned. Maintains required coursework for teaching certificate
