What are the responsibilities and job description for the Brook Lane Security Personnel - Residential Program position at Meritus Health?
- Provides safety and security for Brook Lane employees, property, clients, patients, and visitors.
- Acts to prevent theft, damage, harm, and injury.
- Monitors alarm and security systems.
- Operates the Access Control Systems and access cards.
- Monitors visitations
Education – High School Degree or equivalent required; Associate degree in related field preferred.
Experience – Prior safety/security experience in a healthcare or long term care setting preferred. Experience working with the public; demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
Licensure/Certification – Must have a valid driver’s license in the state in which they reside. Must be at least 21 years of age.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities – Experience working with the public; demonstrates excellent customer service skills. Strong verbal de-escalation skills to avert conflict.
