Meritus Health is seeking a Family Medicine with Obstetrics, Surgical trained to join their Core Faculty Family Medicine program. The FMOB oversees resident training in obstetrics, gynecology, and women's health. The FMOB models the care of pregnant people in the context of family medicine, including deliveries, antepartum and post-partum care, lactation and contraception management. The appointee will work collaboratively with residency leadership and other maternity care providers at Meritus Medical Center and the Washington County community to ensure excellence in all aspects of prenatal care, maternity care, postpartum care and care of mother-baby couplets within the Meritus Family Medicine Residency program. The FMOB will ensure high quality clinical and educational opportunities for family medicine residents and other learners to gain competence and excellence in maternity care and the care of women. The appointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the institution's missions and goals of teaching, patient care, outreach, research and public service.
This provider will have outpatient responsibilities, participate in OB LDRP, take call 4x a month, and have designated time for administrative work.
