What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physician Practice LPN - Meritus Infectious Disease position at Meritus Health?
Under the general direction of the attending physician and the direct supervision of the Office Manager/ Supervisor, provides general and specialized nursing care for the Practice to ensure patients needs are met in a professional and timely manner.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education - Accredited certification LPN program.
Experience - Family Practice nursing experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification - Current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Maryland, or if resident of a state that participates in Nurse Multi-State Compact agreement, holds LPN license from that state that is designated as “Compact” or “Multi-State Privilege” using primary source verification and provides additional documentation as required by the Maryland Board of Nursing. LPN license from a compact state with a designation of “Single State” does not meet the requirement and nurse must obtain a Maryland license.. Current BLS (CPR) in compliance with policy.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Ability to apply the standards of professional nursing practice with compassion and empathy. Basic computer skills required. Must possess high level of organizational and communication skills.
