What are the responsibilities and job description for the BL Mental Health Associate position at Meritus Medical Center Inc?
Function as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team and enables the patient to meet his/her needs as recommended by the treatment team; provides direct patient care to all ages as appropriate and facilitates patient involvement in the prescribed therapeutic activities and services.
Education – High School graduate, Bachelor’s Degree in a social science preferred.
Experience – Mental health experience preferred
Licensure/Certification – Must be legally licensed in order to operate hospital vehicles. Current BLS (CPR) in compliance with policy.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Basic/Moderate computer skills. Effective Communication skills.
