What are the responsibilities and job description for the Care Caller - Part-time position at Meritus Medical Center Inc?
The Care Caller will provide outbound general well-being calls to their assigned list of patients at least once per week to check on their general well-being, have general conversation and determine if they need food, if they are still engaging in their interests, if they need assistance with other basic needs, and to learn more about the adults likes, wishes, and dreams for the future. Each call should last about 15 minutes.
Education –Prefer high school diploma, but not required
Experience –No experience necessary
Licensure/Certification –N/A
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities –1) Able to communicate positively, consistently project an open, warm and caring posture, 2) Be friendly, patient, a great listener, and have a good sense of humor, 3) Demonstrates sensitivity and flexibility, and non-judgmental attitude, 4) Able to work with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgement and discretion when working with others.
