Nurse Residency Program Coordinator
Full Time, Mon - Fri: 730am - 4pm
Designs, organizes, implements and evaluates the Nurse Residency Program to facilitate professional growth, skill development, and attainment of standards of care for Nurse Residents. Utilizes the Vizient/ANCC curriculum as a guiding template for the program. Adheres to ethical principles of practice as defined by the Nurse Practice Act and the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses.
Education – MSN required. Master's in nursing education preferred.
Experience – Minimum of 5 years recent experience in an acute care setting preferably with two of those years in nursing education.
Licensure/Certification – Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland. National Certification in clinical specialty preferred or within one year of eligibility. BLS(CPR) in compliance with policy required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities – Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required. Must have strong computer skills. Must possess strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal relation skills.
