What are the responsibilities and job description for the Respiratory Practitioner position at Meritus Medical Center Inc?
Provides respiratory care to patients, including newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups in all patient care areas. Participates in emergency response teams (Rapid Response Team, Code Blue Team, Trauma Team). May be assigned to the pulmonary function lab and the Special Care Nursery after specialized training.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education - Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy or the equivalent.
Experience - Relevant experience in the field.
Licensure - Licensed by the Maryland Board of Physicians as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Current BLS (CPR) in compliance with policy.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Current Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support. Able to work with computers.
