What are the responsibilities and job description for the Emergency Depart Tech - Part time position at Meritus Medical Center?
Emergency Depart Tech -24 hours biweekly - 12:30p-1:00a
24 hours of weekend time per 6 weeks
One major and minor holiday per year.
Under the supervision of an RN/LPN, functions as nurse extender by performing various activities and related services to provide care for the personal, physical and psychosocial comfort of patients, while maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment in assigned unit.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education - Graduation from High School or equivalent preferred. Completion of a Nursing Assistant Program required.
Experience - 1 year on a medical/surgical or equivalent unit preferred
Licensure/Certification - Maryland Nursing Assistant certification required. Current BLS (CPR) in compliance with policy.
