Psychiatric Assistant- Part time - 6:30am-7:00pm

Under the supervision of a licensed registered and/or practical nurse performs a wide range of nursing care activities and related services to provide care for the personal and psychosocial needs and comfort of patients while maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment. Maintains and demonstrates competencies in clinical practice to include age specifics, BLS and Violence Prevention.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education - Graduation from High School or equivalent preferred. Completion of a Nursing Assistant Program required.
Experience - Experience in health care setting preferred.
Licensure/Certification - Maryland Nursing Assistant certification required. BLS (CPR) in compliance with policy required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Communication skills and the ability to relate to many people of diverse backgrounds.
