Housekeeper

Meriwether Godsey is looking for a Part-time Housekeeper to perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of all public areas as assigned, and other duties as requested at Oak Hill Academy.

• Pay rate: $13 per hour
• Must be available to work: Primarily -3p-10p, some 9a-3p
  
  

What You Will Do

• Dusting all surfaces, sweeping, mopping, and/or vacuuming floors following specified procedures
• Sanitizing all bathroom fixtures and shower facilities, locker room facilities, and laundry room
• Wiping walls and interior windows
• Recording items requiring maintenance
• Submit a report to maintenance, i.e., leaking faucets, blown light bulbs, etc.
• Maintain related supplies
• Removing trash from all public areas
• Following correct handling procedures to ensure safety
• Perform all duties by sanitation and MG Best Practices
• Display a cheerful, helpful, and professional appearance
• Participate in creating a high-energy, positive, teamwork environment
• Other duties, as assigned
  
  

What You Need

• 1-2 years prior housekeeping experience preferred
• Regular necessity to communicate, listen, identify, and smell. Observation requirements include distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Reliability and a willingness to work in hot and cold work areas, wet and humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and exposure to fumes and mildly abrasive chemicals.
• Ability to stand/move about for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs. at times and transport up to 200 lbs.
• Ability to adhere to company safety and sanitation procedures
