Qualifications:
1. Graduate of an accredited school of vocational or professional nursing
2. Holds current licensed or registration with State board
Job Summary:
Under the supervision or the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing assists in maintaining the standards of care to assure a professional, skilled program of care and treatment, taking into account medical, physical, emotional, and psychological needs of the residents.
Responsibilities:
1. Provides nursing care as scheduled
2. Cooperates with all medical professionals working within the facility as well as contracted staff
3. Proper record keeping and documentation for nursing services completed
4. Provide medication and follow doctor's orders as indicated for each resident

1. Warmth, understanding, and responsiveness to each resident and their demands
2. Positive interactions with families and visitors
3. Ability to use initiative, judgment, and resourcefulness
Job Knowledge:
1. Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice
2. Knowledge and application of techniques and method of resident care
3. Awareness of what is involved in special diets and their observance
4. Use of medical and nursing equipment
5. Factors involved in sterilization of equipment and supplies
6. Medications and their effects
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
