MedTech Quality Engineer

About the Position

Mermaid Medical Group is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to support its growth in North America. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, improving, and developing our Quality Management System, working with corrective actions and helping reduce failure rates and cost of poor quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and reduce costs.
• Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance product development and manufacturing efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in Quality Systems, Quality Assurance, and Risk Management in the medical device industry.
• Hands-on experience with CAD or Solidworks.
• Knowledge and experience of relevant regulations, laws, and guidelines.
