What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer position at Mermaids Commercial Cleaning?
We are seeking reliable and hardworking General Laborers to join our team in maintaining new construction communities. This position offers the opportunity to work in a team-based environment with room for advancement. Work locations will vary throughout Manatee and Sarasota counties, and employees will meet at a designated location each morning to use company vehicles for transportation to job sites.
Duties of the position include but are not limited to:
- Some heavy lifting
- Sweeping
- Cleaning up debris and trash on site
- Running backpack blowers for multiple hours
- Emptying trash
- Other general clean out duties as they are needed
You must be able to pass a background screening successfully. You must also be willing to submit to random drug testing for any substances for which you do not currently have a legal prescription.

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
