Position Overview
The Mixer/Cleaning Operator position is a non-exempt, hourly position responsible for weighing, mixing, texting and pumping batches as well as cleaning round tanks, T1 tanks,
Monfort screens, pigment buckets, plastisol totes, coating line tables, pipes, and parts. The mixer/cleaning operator is also responsible for changing out and labeling cleaning fluids and
chemicals used as part of the cleaning, mixing, and coating process. The mixer/cleaning operator will perform daily housekeeping tasks to ensure their work area is neat and in order.

Position Overview
The Mixer/Cleaning Operator position is a non-exempt, hourly position responsible for weighing, mixing, texting and pumping batches as well as cleaning round tanks, T1 tanks,
Monfort screens, pigment buckets, plastisol totes, coating line tables, pipes, and parts. The mixer/cleaning operator is also responsible for changing out and labeling cleaning fluids and
chemicals used as part of the cleaning, mixing, and coating process. The mixer/cleaning operator will perform daily housekeeping tasks to ensure their work area is neat and in order.
What You'll Do
- Verify scales and flow meter are accurate
- Stir pigments and weigh batch components per formulation sheet
- Using the vacuum lift, load pallets with bags of material per formulation sheet
- Pump plasticizer into tank per formulation sheet
- Mix batch per appropriate work instruction
- Remove sample of plastisol from tank and perform quality tests per Work Instruction
- Transfer plastisol from Mixing tank to big tank
- Clean round tanks and T1 tanks and mixing machines as needed
- Cleaning coating line tables (two per line; four lines total)
- Cleaning plastisol totes (two per line; four lines total)
- Cleaning parts for coating line tables using parts washers
- Cleaning Monfort screens
- Cleaning pigment buckets for recycling
- Operate fork lift to change out cleaning fluids and chemicals
- Apply appropriate labeling to cleaning fluids
- Perform PM maintenance on parts washers once a week
- Maintain 5S in Mixing/Cleaning department
- Maintain housekeeping throughout the shift
- Wear appropriate PPE to perform job duties
- Perform any additional duties as given by the Production Manager
- GED or High School Diploma and company issued Forklift license
- The Mixer/Cleaning Operator’s performance will be assessed periodically as deemed necessary by management, but no less than annually. Evaluation criteria will include but is not necessarily limited to:
- The fulfillment of the essential functions described above

- Annual base salary range: $17 Hourly
