Key Responsibilities:
Testing Strategy & Planning:
Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies and plans tailored to telecom-specific requirements.
Define scope, objectives, and deliverables for testing phases (functional, performance, regression, integration, etc.).
Ensure testing aligns with business goals and system architecture.
Team Management & Coordination:
Lead and manage a team of test engineers, including recruitment, mentoring, and performance management.
Coordinate testing efforts with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and business units.
Test Execution & Reporting:
Oversee execution of test cases, ensuring adherence to testing standards and timelines.
Analyze test results and identify areas for improvement in quality and performance.
Provide detailed reports on testing progress, defects, and risks to stakeholders.
Process Improvement:
Implement best practices for testing processes and tools in the telecom domain.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and introducing automation where feasible.
Risk & Issue Management:
Identify, track, and mitigate risks related to testing activities.
Work closely with stakeholders to resolve critical issues promptly.
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure all testing activities comply with telecom industry regulations and standards.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation for test cases, results, and procedures.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
8 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in a test management role.
Proven experience in the telecom domain, including OSS/BSS, network testing, or related systems.
Hands-on experience with testing tools like Selenium, JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
Skills:
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
Expertise in test automation frameworks and tools.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with telecom standards like 3GPP, TM Forum, or ITU is a plus
