Location: Montvale, NJ (5 days per week, with an option for eventually Fridays Remote)
Salary: Up to $135K, with a potential to negotiate for a star candidate.

Position Overview
The organization is seeking a dynamic financial leader to drive growth and scalability as the Controller. This individual will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring robust financial reporting, and implementing scalable processes that support expansion. Serving as a key member of the leadership team, the Controller will work closely with the COO and other executives to align financial planning with organizational goals, enhance efficiency, and foster data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Leadership: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
- Strategic Planning: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, providing actionable insights to guide growth and scalability.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and working capital to ensure financial stability while supporting business expansion.
- Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate and enhance financial processes, internal controls, and reporting systems to drive operational excellence.
- Performance Monitoring: Develop and maintain insightful financial dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) for leadership review.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to tax regulations, financial policies, and audit requirements.
- Collaboration & Leadership: Participate in Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) meetings, contributing to data-driven executive decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred (CPA or CMA preferred).
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of financial management experience, ideally within healthcare or service-based industries.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online (QBO), Power BI, and practice management systems such as Central Reach.
- Expertise in GAAP: Proven ability to manage accounts receivable, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow optimization.
- Leadership Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to present financial data effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
- Process Improvement Mindset: Ability to refine and implement financial strategies in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- EOS Knowledge: Experience with Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) and participation in L10 meetings is a plus.
