Key Responsibilities for Revenue Cycle Management Director :
- Lead and manage the revenue cycle team, ensuring accountability and establishing clear performance standards.
- Oversee the Billing, Quality Assurance, Authorizations, and Credentialing Operations teams.
- Manage billing, collections, and payment processes, ensuring timely claims submissions and effective accounts receivable management.
- Identify and implement process improvements aimed at minimizing revenue leakage and increasing efficiency.
- Act as the OMIG Compliance Officer for Medicaid, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and effective audit management.
- Conduct audits on medical records and insurance documentation to ensure accuracy in billing practices.
- Analyze claim denials and develop strategies to reduce recurrence, thereby optimizing revenue.
- Build strong relationships with finance, clinical, and operations teams to enhance end-to-end processes.
- Prepare detailed reports on revenue cycle performance, trends, and forecasts to assist in strategic planning.
- Stay updated on payer policies and lead compliance initiatives throughout the organization.
- Mentor and develop the revenue cycle team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate interdepartmental communication and lead weekly meetings to ensure alignment with financial goals.
