Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate bank and account reconciliations.
- Oversee reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
- Ensure compliance with donor restrictions for endowments and grants.
- Work with grant managers on proper revenue and expenditure recording.
- Prepare financial reports and assist in audits.
- Support financial planning and year-end closing.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3 years of nonprofit or grant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit financial standards.
- Preferred experience in higher education and Ellucian Colleague.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- CPA certification is a plus.
