Catering Chef
For over 47 years Merri-Makers has been the premier caterer in New Jersey. We are currently interviewing for an preeminent Catering Chef in Monmouth/Ocean Counties. Excellent growth opportunities with advancement. Work in a new, state-of-the-art kitchen.
Catering Chef oversees weekly production of high-end weddings, follows production recipes and food safety standards.
PRODUCTION KITCHEN:
-Manage culinary team in preparation for weekend events
-Ensure food production is packed on proper event carts for transportation
-Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 7:30am-3:30pm
CHEF FOR OFF-PREMISE EVENTS:
-Review final loadout for your event
-Arrive at event, execute in accordance with Maitre D’ and the event timing schedule
-Consolidate food items and return to commissary kitchen
-Event days Friday, Saturday 11am-11pm
-Approx 40-50 hrs per week
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 5 years experience required
