Responsibilities:
- Prepare residents for therapy, activities, physician visits, religious services, etc., including transporting them to/from such events.
- Answer residents' call lights promptly and attend to their needs in a timely manner.
- Participate in in-service educational programs, on-the-job training sessions, and meetings as directed by the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, or Director of Nurses.
- Assist residents with daily hygiene routines and encourage self-help measures/activities.
- Chart required information every shift regarding the certified nursing assistant's role.
