What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead and Assistant Teacher position at Merrie Time Christian Preschool & Daycare?
A Christian preschool and daycare is looking for compassionate, hard working, energetic individuals with a love for children to fill both full and part time positions, We are looking for team players who will work well with other members of the staff to provide the highest quality of care possible. The center hours are from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm., Monday - Friday. No evenings or weekends. We provide 8 paid holidays/year (immediately upon hire) and after a year you will receive 5 paid vacation days as well. We pay for professional development and will help you earn your CDA or Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education. Applicants must have a high school diploma. Hourly pay is competitive and based on experience and degrees.
Duties
- plan developmentally appropriate lessons with co-teacher
- carry out lesson plans
- closely monitor the children in your care
- keep track of attendance
- help maintain the cleanliness of the classroom and center
Requirements
- high school diploma or 18 yrs. of age with a GED
- participate in annual training requirements which are paid for by the center
- CPR/First Aid & AED (we will help you obtain this if you don't already have it

- CDA or AA Degree in ECE or higher
