Landscape Design/Build Crew Leader

Merrifield Garden and Design is a Landscape Design, Installation, and Fine Gardening Company - big enough for career growth and advancement but small enough that each position, each person matters. We're seeking an experienced Landscape Design/Build Crew Leader. In addition to onsite responsibilities, this position also has the opportunity to meet with new clients and estimate projects, have a strong voice within the company by being a member of our Leadership Team, hand select plants and materials, and use some of the best software and technology in the landscape industry.

Key skill sets and requirements for this position include:

*Strong plant and plant ID knowledge

*Well rounded background in residential planting projects - both renovations and new installations

*Ability to prune a variety of shrubs and ornamental trees to a high level of skill and artistry

*Be able to lead, delegate, train, and support others in a positive and patient manner

*Assist in providing a top notch client experience, with an ever present focus on quality and professionalism

*Be in proper physical shape to perform often labor intensive work

**Optional skills sets/experience:

Hoisting license and experience operating Dingo, skid steers; hardscape installation specifically using natural stone; project estimating; truck/trailer competence; degrees or certifications in a horticulture related field of study.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour
