Merrill Gardens has expanded! We are currently hiring a Dining Room Server at our Renton, WA community. Some of our long-time servers have graduated and we have both full-time position (with benefits) and part-time positions available. What You’ll Do:

Professionally serve meals in our restaurant-style dining room - provide a high level of customer service to residents and guests as part of our 'Enjoy More Anytime Dining' program. Engage with residents to take orders, participate in special events, bus and reset tables, and assist with cleaning tasks - finish with your shift by 8 p.m.!

What You’ll Need:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Food Handler’s Permit as required
• Able to communicate in both written and spoken English
• Familiar with electronic devices - we use the Toast Point of Sale system
• Must be at least 16 years of age

Who You Are:

• Team player who loves working with seniors, has great customer service skills and the ability to multi-task
• Good communicator with a professional and caring attitude toward seniors, their families, and guests in the community
• Customer focused and good attention to detail

Available Opportunities:

Position could be part-time or full-time. Available shifts are as follows:

• Sunday, Monday, Friday, Saturday - 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The pay range for this position is $20.90 to $27.17 and will vary based on qualifications, experience, education/additional licensure, and other objective factors. Hiring at the maximum is not typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.
