We are seeking a motivated and friendly Server/Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, processing transactions, and ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This position is essential in delivering a positive dining experience and requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately.
- Operate the cash register and POS system to process payments swiftly.
- Handle cash transactions and provide change as needed while maintaining accuracy.
- Ensure food handling and sanitation standards are met at all times.
- Assist with food preparation and serving as required in a quick-service fast food restaurant setting.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, counters, and restrooms.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or retail environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash registers, POS systems, and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards customers and coworkers.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
