Description
Overview : As a configuration management Specialist with MERRILL, you will work in our APEX group processing Engineering changes within ERP and PLM systems.
You will collaborate with Estimating team to capture costs, Supply Chain to update supplier purchase orders, Program management, Quality program management, CNC Programmers, Launch Team, and the Inventory managers to update shop floor work packets. Attention to detail and accuracy is a must for this position. Review customer supplied drawings and models for revision control, upload of data into PLM.
Job Functions :
- Process Engineering changes following our configuration management process.
- PLM data management of customer supplied models and drawings.
- Completing engineering changes in a timely fashion, capturing cost of changes, communicate with affected departments of changes. Maintain Accuracy.
- Utilize strong organizational and communication skills
- Read and interpret mechnical and assembly drawings, GD&T. OSp. and MIL-Standards
