Average Starting Hourly Pay Range - $15.45 - $24.70
Day Shift Monday - Friday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
16% Night Shift Premium Available Monday - Thursday 5:00 pm - 5:30 am
PTO upon hire, Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits are offered after 90 days of employment, 401K after 6 months
Overview: As a Fabricator I you are responsible for fabricating steel, aluminum, and stainless steel products according to blueprints or detail drawings under direct supervision by a team leader or Level III Fabricator. Train on the Job.
Job Functions:
- Flame cutting, Beveling, Pre and Tack welding, Grinding, Straightening, Bracing, and building basic fabrications to print using a fixture or where minimal or no machine stock is required.
- Maintain welding equipment and shop fabrication tools for assigned work area.
- Maintain a safe work environment through awareness and training.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Six (6) months of experience in the welding and fabricating field.
- Tack Welding, using FCAW, GMAW, or Stick electrodes.
- Ability to read standard and metric tape measures.
- Ability to build fabrications from basic blue blueprints and detailed prints with minimal machine surfaces.
- Industrious and hardworking, with the ability to focus on a task until completion.
- Work involves frequent handling of moderate to heavy components (no more than 50 lbs. w/o mechanical assistance) and may include walking or standing most of the time.
- Frequent bending, stooping, and twisting
