Position Overview
The Department of Political Science, Policy, and History in the School of Arts and Science at Merrimack College seeks an adjunct instructor to teach one section of our POL 3152 Civil Liberties and Civil Rights in Spring 2025. The class will meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 11am-12 : 15pm.
The course examines the way in which the American political system defines and defends civil liberties and civil rights through the study of case law and legal theory in this area. The course is an elective for all Political Science as well as Law and Policy majors and several minors, and is also taken by many other students for general education credit.
POL 3152 Civil Rights and Civil Liberties
Qualifications :
- Masters degree or JD required, Ph.D. preferred. College teaching experience preferred.
