FUNCTIONAL SUMMARY : Universal Retail Employee able to perform the functional duties of a Teller and Financial Service Representative with the ability to travel to various branch locations as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Maintains a working knowledge of all products and services offered by the Credit Union.
- Processes a wide variety of transactions for members including, but not limited to : deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, payroll adjustments, bank checks, gift cards, and cash advances.
- Uses sound judgment and interpersonal skills to effectively assist members.
- Balances cash drawer and makes settlement of the day’s activities in accordance with Credit Union policies and procedures.
- Participates in balancing ATM, under dual control, as necessary.
- Adheres to all aspects of the Credit Union Bank Secrecy Act policy and procedures.
- Maintains a working knowledge of all electronic delivery channels in order to assist members with access and use of online banking, bill pay and the mobile application.
- Originates all loan types via direct member contact, telephone, and mail and fax applications. Uses loan processing system. Ensures that all conditions for approval are met, obtains all required documentation, and assist with loan disbursements via direct member contact or mail.
- Performs all the duties and functions for the ATM / Debit card issuance, including all new, reissues, and maintenance on the system.
- Handles opening and closing of all account types and performs account maintenance as needed.
- Performs lobby leadership as scheduled by management.
- Performs additional duties as requested.
- Leads the See It, Own It, Solve It, Do It culture by continually analyzing and improving member service and staff experience.
