Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Welding Inspector located in Roanoke Rapids, NC. The Welding Inspector will be responsible for performing welding inspections, overseeing quality assurance and quality control processes, and ensuring all welding work meets regulatory standards. Daily tasks include conducting inspections, verifying the integrity of welds, documenting findings, and collaborating with other team members to resolve issues and improve processes.
Qualifications
- Welding Inspection and Welding skills
- Quality Control and Quality Assurance abilities
- Proficiency in Inspection processes
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience in an industrial or fabrication environment is a plus
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) are beneficial
