Merritt Precision Technologies, a leading manufacturer of sophisticated molds for the marine, automotive, and aerospace industries, is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Mill Operator to join their team. This role involves managing production Master and Plug development utilizing large gantry cartesian robots. Key responsibilities include writing engineering strategies for tool paths and buck construction, as well as managing safe operations within the work envelope.
Using Siemens NX software, this CNC Programmer will develop cutting strategies and toolpaths for machining plugs/masters. Additional duties include designing support structures for these components, operating Fanuc CNC machines, inspecting parts for accuracy, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
The ideal candidate possesses strong time management skills, a project-oriented mindset, and a solid understanding of CAD/CAM software. Microsoft Office Suite proficiency and technical controls background or related field (B.Mechanical Engineering) are also required.
