Warehouse and Receiving Materials Handler
We are in search of an experienced Material Handler to receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and product within the Factory. The ideal candidate will be competent in using/operating forklifts, overhead cranes, and material carts.

Responsibilities:
Read production schedules or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
Move materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
Fill requisitions and Material Movement Forms (MMFs) and distribute items to production workers or assembly line as needed.
Record quantities of materials/items received or distributed.
Maintain inventory and MMF records.
Place all Branch orders on pallets for conveyance to Service Department.
Label materials with identifying information as needed.
Open bales, crates, and other containers as needed.
Weigh and/or count materials/items for distribution within the facility to ensure conformance to company standards.
Distribute and arrange stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by factory associates.
Enter necessary records into proper computer system.
Drive warehouse vehicles to transport materials/items from the warehouse to the factory.
Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.
Follow all company rules and polices.
Provide a great level of attention to detail.
Follow all safety rules and procedures.
Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
Lift raw materials up to 51 pounds.

Knowledge and Skills for this Position:
Ability to safely operate a forklift, overhead crane, and material cart.
Knowledge of raw materials.
Knowledge of stretch wrapping machines.
Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to use personal protective equipment (safety glasses, ear plugs, hardhat, etc.).
Deftness and attention to detail.
Ability to perform simple math to count received materials, measure incoming materials to ensure specifications are being met, quantities and part numbers are correct, and to assist in cycle counting of inventory.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Must be reliable, with a strong work ethic and desire to contribute to a team.
Willing to work 40 hours weekly.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1 years of warehouse experience required.
Ability to work indoors or outdoors as assigned.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening is required.
Random drug testing required after employment.
