The Merriweather Lakehouse is a progressive and modern, 4-star hotel that sets the standard for hospitality excellence, innovative dining, and curated experiences. As we continue to expand our footprint, and embrace our identity as a nature and music themed Autograph Collection by Marriott hotel, we are seeking a dynamic and visionary Marketing Manager to lead our marketing initiatives and drive our brand to new heights. This person will play an integral part in building and driving our brands marketing strategy, with an overall goal to engage and create - bridging the gap between the excitement and allure of possibility with the here and now of present day.
Key Responsibilities :
- The Marketing Manager will be the brand ambassador for and the face of the Merriweather Lakehouse Hotel, Autograph Collection by Marriott
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans and strategies to promote the hotel, food and beverage outlets, and in-house events to drive brand awareness and customer loyalty.
- Merriweather Lakehouse Hotel is home to most artists performing at the Merriweather Post Pavillion. This position will include interacting with and essentially hosting the artists to solidify the hotel's relationship with the artists within the music community.
- Spearhead new programming initiatives, such as on-property concerts, wine tastings, celebrity chef tastings, etc. and drive implementation.
- Create and manage impactful marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, paid media, email marketing, influencer partnerships, and experiential marketing.
- Oversee the creation of compelling on-property content that showcases our rooms, service, ambiance, and distinctive features.
- Manage and optimize online presence on the Marriott and vanity website.
- Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance metrics, providing regular reports and recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Generate unique leisure packages and load on websites to drive business over need dates / times.
- Collaborate with external agencies and vendors to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, bringing new ideas and strategies to the table.
- Foster a culture of creativity and collaboration within the on-property team, inspiring an innovative approach with a fresh perspective.
- Align with peer leadership group to formulate strategic recommendations and align on key decisions.
- Advise senior leadership on strategy, implementation, and communication of programs.
