Are you a Licensed Practical Nurse?Be part of a care team in a small residential program serving adults with physical and intellectual disabilities. Coordinate nursing tasks with an LPN partner, MedTechs and floor staff. Assess residents, schedule and accompany them to medical appointments, advocate for their care needs, follow up on labs, and document thoroughly. May coach staff in basic care tasks such as taking vitals, skin assessment, etc. 4 hours afternoons/early evenings, five days per week including one weekend day. May be able to stagger hours based upon residents' and your scheduling needs. $36-$38/hour. Must possess a Washington Dept. of Health LPN license in good standing, drivers license and reliable transportation. General Statement of Duties: Support health and safety of the Loved Ones by working closely with leadership, team members, nurse delegators, healthcare professionals and families/guardians to ensure that medical services, medications and treatments are properly prescribed, administered and documented. Support leadership by administering various tests, medications and treatments when necessary, explaining and instructing team members on medical care procedures, auditing processes and making corrections when needed, assisting with timely plans and reports, advocating for the Loved Ones’ needs and serving as a liaison between medical providers and the organization. Excellent communication, keen attention to detail with follow-through, and healthy professional boundaries are key factors required of this position.
Shifts available include weekday afternoons/evenings and 4-6 hours Saturday and Sunday
